Introduction

Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (CS: GO) is a hall-based tactical game developed by Valve Corporation. It was launched in 2010 and it is suitable for Xbox Live, PlayStation 3, and Windows. As a player, you either join the Counter-Terrorists (CT) or the Terrorist team and your primary objective is to win the match. The most famous CS: GO’s game version sees Counter-Terrorists team fight the Terrorists to stop them from planting bombs at a designated site; by defusing the explosive and eliminating them.

General Impression

For the beginners, CS: GO is a small-scale, team-based first-player shooter with fatal or permanent death. When a CT kills a terrorist planting a bomb in a classic match or a CT is killed on a rescue mission, the victim will not appear until the next level. As such, you need to exercise care and skill to keep your team alive. Meanwhile, the bomb objective gives the player a purpose. The match ends when everyone on one team is dead, but a coordinated and clever terrorist team will give the Counter-Terrorists team the slip, plant and protect their bomb.

At the beginning of every round, you will need to buy weapons using the cash you earned from the previous level. In addition, the developer has developed a lot of custom game mode and maps that reinvent or expand default gameplay. A huge number of assortments of weapon cosmetics can be collected by playing the game to differentiate yourself from other gamers.

You will realize that pieces of this game are dated at some point but the core of the game is timeless. Rounds are short, guns are lethal, and teams are small. You will get a just-one-more-round feel to it because there is a constant desire to become better, to kill more, or to win in a different way.

Graphics and Design

If you have played this game, you know it’s totally a multiplayer game. You can enjoy it offline against Al bots, but that’s just a simulation of what you can enjoy online. When you visit their web, you will come across 2 types of matches as well as 2 tiers of play to choose from. Ranked level is the primary style of the Counter-Strike, Global Offensive with realism setting enabled, while the Casual level is for the novice.

In one game, the Defusal, the Terrorists need to plant a bomb at a site and defend it until it goes off while the CT need to prevent them from setting it or even defuse it before it explodes. In the other game, Hostage Rescue, the terrorists take a group of hostages which they need to protect until the time runs out while the CT team must free the hostage and destroy the location.

Both tiers boast of different maps.
